A morning summary for the team, and an uptime page for customers.
Each morning, the warnings that did not need to interrupt anyone arrive in one private email; each week, a report shows what keeps happening. Separately, an optional public page tells customers whether the store is up. Nothing about sales ever appears on it.
On every plan, Watch (free) includedWatch: the weekly report and the status page. Monitor: the daily digest as well.
- Checkout slower than usual · 02:10–02:55 · stayed under the alert bar
- PHP warnings up · 03:00–04:20
- 1 new fatal error · class-wc-gateway.php
OPERATIONALchecked 1 min ago
- 12 Oct · Outage · 18 min
- 27 Oct · Partial outage · 9 min
Two audiences, two different questions
The team wants to know what was odd overnight without being woken for it, and whether it is a pattern. Customers, during an outage, want to know only whether it is the store or them. Sending either group the other’s information is noise, or a leak.
- Small warnings by text all night, or none at all.
- The same 3 am slowdown, every night, noticed by nobody.
- Customers emailing support to ask whether the shop is down.
What you can see
Private: the daily digest
At 08:00 store time, every recipient who chose the digest gets one message per site: what was unusual in the last 24 hours and was not worth a message at the time, how long it lasted and the bar it stayed under. The day’s fatal PHP errors and any decision waiting for you are listed too.
A digest with nothing in it is not sent.
- Renewals failing above usual · 03:00–03:40 · 4 of 31
- Calls to the shipping API slow · 05:15–06:00
- Waiting for you: confirm the “Quote request” form as a monitor
Stored statements and numbers only; nothing is recomputed for the email.
Private: the weekly report
On Monday morning, a report counts the week’s signals by kind, so something harmless once that happens every night is seen as a pattern. On Watch, it is the plan’s weekly email: the week’s availability, outages and the state of each check.
Public: the status page
Whether the store is up right now, its uptime over the last 90 days, and its past outages, in the store’s time zone. It is drawn from a fixed public record with no field for revenue, orders, plugins, the server, error text or anything from an AI review. It is off until you switch it on.

Questions
Will customers see my sales or errors on the status page?
No. Its data has a field only for availability: the state now, daily uptime and past outages. Sales, orders, plugins, server readings and error text cannot appear on it.
Is the weekly report on the free plan?
Yes. Watch gets a weekly email with the week’s availability, outages and the state of each check. The daily digest is on Monitor and above.
What if nothing happened?
Then no digest is sent. An empty report is not a report.
Can I turn the status page off again?
Yes, at any time. It is off until you switch it on.
