Free WooCommerce tools
Tools for working out what is wrong with a WooCommerce store, and what it cost. No account, no email address, and nothing to install. Use them on your own store or on stores you look after for clients.
- Diagnose
WooCommerce system status report checker
Paste the report from WooCommerce → Status and get the lines that matter, most serious first: past-due scheduled actions, WP-Cron, memory and time limits, HPOS sync, outdated templates and versions.
Runs in your browser; the report is not uploaded.
- Diagnose
WordPress PHP error log reader
Paste a debug.log or your host’s PHP error log: fatal errors first, repeats collapsed with a count, and each entry traced to the plugin or theme it came from.
Runs in your browser; the log is not uploaded.
- Check
WooCommerce checkout cache checker
Enter a store’s address and see whether its cart and checkout are served from a page cache, which breaks orders while the site stays up and fast. With the fix for each common cache.
Our server makes a few GET requests to the store; nothing is stored.
- Estimate
WooCommerce outage cost calculator
What a broken checkout or a run of failed subscription renewals cost: revenue not taken, revenue at risk and the renewals that will not come back, from your own figures with every step shown.
Runs in your browser; share a result as a link.
- Choose
WooCommerce store check
Two minutes on what has gone wrong with your store, and an honest answer about which kind of monitoring tool covers it.
Your answers are saved so we learn what breaks; an email address is optional.
Where to start
Each tool answers one question. Pick the one that matches what you are seeing.
- Payments failing, or orders stopped after an update. Read the PHP error log for the plugin behind it, then work through what to check when WooCommerce payments are failing.
- Empty carts, someone else’s cart, or “session expired” at checkout. Check whether your checkout is being cached.
- Subscription renewals or scheduled emails not going out. Check your WooCommerce system status report for past-due scheduled actions and WP-Cron, then see what to check when renewals are failing.
- Slow or failing checkout on a busy day. The status report shows a memory or time limit too low; a traffic spike that overwhelmed checkout shows how it plays out.
- Explaining an incident to a client or a manager. Estimate what the outage cost, with the working shown, and send them the link.
Each tool looks at one moment. Operanse watches the same things continuously against what is normal for your store; see how WooCommerce monitoring with Operanse works.
