Five steps and about fifteen minutes, most of it in wp-admin. No card required.
Create an account
Sign up with your name, email, a password and the name of your business, which becomes your organisation. It is free, and it signs you straight in.
Add your site
In the dashboard, under Sites, choose Add a site and give it a name and its address. Nothing is checked or charged until the plugin pairs.
Install the plugin
In wp-admin, Plugins → Add New, search for Operanse, install and activate it. It is also on wordpress.org. Until it is paired the plugin sends nothing and records nothing.
Choose the trial or Watch, and copy the token
On your site’s page in the dashboard, pick Start the 14-day trial (everything in Insight, Playback of every day included, no card) or Use Watch, free (uptime, scheduled work and renewals, alerts to two emails). Then generate the pairing token. It is shown once and works for a limited time. If you choose Watch, the trial waits and you can start it later.
Paste the pairing token
In wp-admin, Settings → Operanse, paste the token and pair. The plugin gets its own signed credentials and the site’s page shows it connected within a few minutes. On the trial and the paid plans, two lines in
wp-config.phpkeep the plugin’s buffer outside the web root and run cron from the system; the plugin says when they are missing, and the server setup page has the lines for common hosts.
What happens next. On the trial, the first useful statements arrive on day three, once the store’s normal has 48 hours behind it. When the 14 days end without a card the store moves to Watch; it is not locked.
